Βλεφαροπλαστική

Thank you for inquiry. From what you are describing a correction is possible, although not through a simple blepharoplasty, but with the use of tarsoplasty and/or browlift. Given your young age you need a well done operation with a result lasting for a lifetime. Of course, I would need to see you and examine your eyelids and eyebrow, so as to give you a more precise advise regarding the methodology as well as the cost. Please do get in touch so as to set up an appointment.

The operation itself is exactly the same as the blepharoplasty of upper and lower eyelids, but with the intended design, demarcations of the eyelid skin and the correction of the eye muscles done in a way that would create the desired European looking style. Cost of this procedure is from 3000 to 4000 euros.

The initial blepharoplasty is performed depending on the case. The patients' age usually varies from 32 to 70. If the initial operation is carried out at an early age and the method is designed for long-term results (5-10 years), then a second blepharoplasty can be performed at a more mature age. Generally it is not desirable to have this operation more than 2 times.

The procedure is a variant of forehead lift with browlift, which can cost from 4000 euros, though a more precise cost would be determined during the consultation.
Given the anatomical limitations and the quality of skin due to your very young age, I would not recommended this procedure.
Another possibility is to conduct a "mini-browlift" with incision at the upper boundaries of the brows, which can create the shape that you desire. The cost would be from 1000 euros, but then again I would need to see you in order to carry out a thorough examination.

During the browlift procedure the temple area of the eyebrows and upper eyelids is tightened. Thus one's eyes may look more open, but the shape of the eye does not change.
In order to change the shape of the eyes one needs another procedure called blepharoplasty.

Λίφτινγκ προσώπου (FaceLift)

In principle this is possible. But, you should take into account that this would also mean having a prolonged anaesthesia, 4 to 5 hours. I would recommend doing these procedures separately, so as to ease the postoperative period.

It is theoretically possible. Many surgeons perform such procedures simultaneously. But based on my extensive experience, I would not recommend this. Doing these procedures simultaneously increases the chances of a prolonged and obvious postoperative edema, longer rehabilitation, and a long-term healing process before the desired result is achieved.

Dear Katie,
I'd be glad to help you, as many foreign patients choose me for plastic surgery procedures, and thus, travel to Athens. To start with, please telephone me and we can talk about your case in more detail and I'll tell you my e-mail address so that you can forward your photos. If you have Skype, we can even hold a Skype consultation. Once I see you, I'll be able to determine the cost of the revision neck lift procedure that you require.
It is very likely that the overall cost of neck lift revision, including the cost of travel and accommodation, will work out to be cheaper than doing the said procedure in your country. But as I said, we have to talk these things through in more detail.

You did not fully describe what it is that you are not satisfied with. But any revision cosmetic surgery is recommended only one year after the original procedure.

Having a neck-lift at such an age is not recommended. However, if it worries you too much then it may be possible to smooth the outlines of the wrinkles with the use of laser or injections.

Γενειοπλαστική

It is well known that the contourplasty of the face and body with the use of own fat leads to fat resorption after 6 months. The patient must have been warned about this prior to the procedure. In today's plastic surgery contourplasty is carried out using silicone implants for the face and body. But the patient must also be warned about possible side effects and complications (infection, encapsulation, rejection of the silicone body). Contoured silicone implants, supplied by the well-established international firms, with a long approbation and high quality, may remain in the body for many years and throughout lifetime.
Reoperation using silicone implants after resorption of fat is possible.

Ωτοπλαστική

Otoplasty and earlobes correction are performed under local anesthesia. During the operation the ear tissues "swell" due to the local anesthetic and therefore the angle of the ear lobe changes slightly. Simultaneous otoplasty and earlobe correction is possible. However, it is advisable to perform earlobe correction as a second stage after otoplasty, once the healing and scarring occur. The degree of the necessary earlobe correction is better determined 6-8 months after otoplasty. Performing separate operations guarantees a better result.

Yes, I use permalip implants depending on the case, as well as other fillers.

Yes, I do. I have done these for more than 20 years.

Yes, of course I perform Breast Reduction surgery for women.

There are anatomical limits, which must be taken into account. These depend on the age, the characteristics of the soft tissues of the breast, chest muscles, the type of silicone implants and the method of breast augmentation procedure itself. However, we must not forget that the desired size of the breasts should also be fully in harmony with the body's overall proportions. One should aim for the effect of naturally looking, rather than "implanted" breasts. The question of maximum possible breast size is normally determined by the surgeon, while examining the individual case during the consultation.

Breast augmentation and areola reduction can be carried out separately, as well as simultaneously.

Yes, it is possible. However, the right choice of silicone implants is very important. The maximum symmetry is achieved by using Sizers during the breast augmentation surgery.

You can have either a breast uplift or breast augmentation; or you can combine both operations simultaneously. However, because each case varies, a more precise answer can be determined only after an examination of your breasts during the consultation.

For a more serious approach to health concerns the establishment of hormonal and metabolic rate is necessary. Therefore, it is desirable to wait 1-1.5 years after birth-giving. It is also desirable that the silicone implant is introduced not in the mammary gland itself, but under the pectoral muscle, so as to avoid injury of the mammary gland which is a hormonal organ.

The technique of introducing the silicone implants under the pectoral muscle, rather than directly into the mammary gland, allows us to obtain the desired shape and size of the breast, which will feel completely natural to touch.

In principle this is possible. But, you should take into account that this would also mean having a prolonged anaesthesia, 4 to 5 hours. I would recommend doing these procedures separately, so as to ease the postoperative period.

Greetings. The price for male areola reduction (both sides) under local anesthesia would be 1000-1300 euros. Of course, I would need to see you at a consultation so as to determine a more precise price.

Λιποαναρρόφηση

Liposuction is not a method of weight loss, but rather, a procedure aimed at correcting and modeling contours of the face and body. Liposuction itself as surgical procedure is absolutely painless, as it is performed under local anesthesia and an additional NFA, general anesthesia or subdural anesthesia, depending on the location of zones undergoing liposuction. Soreness (the feeling of bloating) may occur in the first 2-3 days, depending on the increase in swelling of soft tissue areas undergoing liposuction. Taking painkiller medication in the first 2-3 days is required. For non-smokers, young and non-overweight patients this process is sustained in a much easier and painless fashion. It is very important to choose the correct post-operative bandage, which must be worn 1.5 - 2 months depending on the size of zones undergoing liposuction.

In order to establish a stable metabolism after liposuction, observance of a moderate diet is necessary.

That depends on the overall health of the patient, his/her age, as well as one's body complection. Liposuction can be performed on two or more zones simultaneously, however the total amount of extracted fat should not exceed 2 liters.

You can get pregnant after abdominoplasty. But the development of pregnancy (uterine expansions inside uterine and all tissues of abdominal wall) will be complicated and even dangerous. This is because a full abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat tissue, the position of the navel changes and the rectus abdominis is stitched. On this basis, any abdominoplasty should be done only following the pregnancy and 1-1.5 years after it.

Prior to any procedure following labor one should wait 1-1.5 years until full recovery in the tone of abdominal muscles, subcutaneous tissue and the skin itself. Following that, the method of treatment is determined during the examination. There are a variety of available methods that can help achieve the desired results: mesotherapy, laser therapy and/or surgery. Because there are many factors that vary from case to case, all of the nuances and the correct choice of treatment is determined by the plastic surgeon during the examination; and that is also why the cost also varies greatly - from 500 euros.

The cost of removal of a scar of that size would roughly be 300-400 Euros. You would, of course, need to make an appointment at least 1 week in advance, especially given that you would need to travel to Greece.

Keloid scars is one of the important problems in plastic surgery. Their repeated excision is not productive. Some of the following treatments may be effective: hormone therapy, the use of special silicon plates on the skin, injections in the keloid zone, as well as laser therapy using the latest laser technology. Of course, I would have to examine this case in person and in more depth, so as to provide more detailed answers.

In order to determine the correct method of tattoo or scar removal, the surgeon must first ascertain the nature of the tattoo or scar. If the tattoo (or the scar) is superficial (not too deep), then laser therapy is recommended, which can take 2-3 stages. One must be aware that a faint image of the previous tattoo or scar still remains after such laser treatment. In case of scars they become softer and almost invisible.
In case of the surgical removal of tattoos or scars, if its width is not more than 1cm, then it can be removed in one stage. If, however, the scar or the tattoo is larger than 1cm, then it is recommended that a second surgical removal takes place with an interval of 6 months - 1 year.
In cases of large scars or tattoos (more than 10cm wide) plastic surgeons use subcutaneous silicone expanders in order to stretch the skin below and around the scar or tattoo for 2-3 months. This method later enables the removal of the scar or tattoo deformations by replacing it with patient's own skin.

Any polymer gel is an alien matter which is not always accepted by the body at 100%. There are a numerous types of polymer gels. Some of them are able to move from one region of the face to another. Before the introduction of the gel, the patients should be full informed about the type of gel, and its possible side effects. Surgical removal of the gel is possible, but the complexity of the removal depends on the depth of its location within the soft tissue and the proximity to important nerves and vessels. It is desirable that the surgical removal is conducted by the plastic surgeon who injected this gel in the first place, since he/she would know better the location of the gel at the time of its introduction.

Firstly, you need to view 2-3 or even 4 surgeons, or a panel of plastic surgeons headed by your operating surgeon. This is necessary for the proper establishment of the causes leading to this complication. Secondly, in order to rule out a damage to the facial nerve and muscle, electromyography is necessary so as to test for possible nerve damage. Third step would be a special physiotherapy, but, unfortunately, much time has passed after your operation. And the fourth step would be a radical treatment, given the necessary indications, which must be determined by a panel of specialist plastic surgeons.

Such revision blepharoplasty may be carried out under local anesthesia. This is one of the possible complications after blepharoplasty (ectropion) and the omission occurred by just one millimetre.
